'Cause I haven't gone crazy yet

Well yeah I like to think so. It’ll probably come down to money to be traveling to all the regattas that I’ll have to be at (flights, lodging, either shipping my boat or chartering one, food, registration) and what I’m doing school wise. I’m supposed to be starting university in the fall of 2013 so I’ll pretty much be a full time student. The goal is to find a girl dedicated enough, hopefully going to either the same school as me or somewhere like an hour away so we can train all the time. I’ve just watched my mum go through everything it takes to have an olympic campaign, and she did it all in a year, mind you Canada didn’t get a spot but she had only started match racing at the same time her campaign started. I’ve been a fleet racer since I was 12, started sailing skiffs two years ago. I know all the right people already so yes I do believe it’s a possibility for me and I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. I’ve given up my 29er and my jr racing career for now so I can save money and buy whatever is selected as the Womens 2016 Skiff in september when they announce it. Now all I’m waiting for is a dedicated crew.
